Message Are worn/leaking tension rod busings. Many, many people (including myself) here have had shimming in the wheel when braking, especially at speeds over 60 mph due to worn bushings in the tension rods. take a look underneith the car and locate the tension rod bushings, if there is some goo coming out of them, I'd try changing those out first. Replacement bushings can be had at suspension.com and pressed in and installed by any competent mechanic/machine shop for around $50.

If that doesn't work, yeah, its probably the rotors :)
